Fennel and Walnut Ravioli
with Lurpak ®

Melt-in-your mouth cheese pastries with Lurpak’s buttery, rich flavor. Make dinner a delicious affair!

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt as desired
  • Half a bunch of fresh fennel
  • 200 grams Three Cows White Cheese
  • 50 grams Lurpak Butter
  • 50 grams walnuts
  • Corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon curcuma (turmeric)
 

Directions

STEP 1
Sift the flour in a deep dish. Add 2 eggs and salt; mix with your fingers to form a firm dough. Shape the dough like a bun, and cover with a clean cloth. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
 
STEP 2
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Spread each part out separately and sprinkle with corn flour. Put the dough pieces on top of each other and roll them again. Cut it again into 4 pieces. Repeat this process a few times.
 
STEP 3
Chop the fennel finely and combine with Three Cows White Cheese; mix it well with your fingers.
 
STEP 4
Brush 2 pieces of the dough with beaten egg mixture. Put half a teaspoon of cheese on each piece, evenly spaced, and cover them with the remaining 2 dough pieces. Press the dough edges together to close them.
 
STEP 5
Cut the dough with a wheel cutter to make a square shape. Bring some salty water to a boil and gently drop the dough pieces in, cooking for a few minutes. Drain and fry the pastries in the melted butter in a skillet for 5 minutes.
Garnish

 Place in a serving dish and sprinkle some crushed walnuts and fennel on top for garnish.
